General Motors in Kokomo, IN is seeking a Quality Engineer to analyze production inputs and outputs to meet customer quality requirements. You will work with customers to resolve issues, provide technical support, and serve as the liaison between Manufacturing and customers.

The role requires engineering or equivalent experience with strong knowledge of PFMEA, PCP, PPAP, and statistical QC. Onsite with travel up to 25%, relocation possible for qualified candidates.

Formación

• Engineering degree or 3+ years in Quality, Supplier Quality or Manufacturing.
• Facilitate problem-solving activities effectively.
• Knowledge of PFD, PFMEA and PCP. PPAP understanding is preferred.
• Ability to communicate with customers and develop PQS per requirements.
• Experience with statistical quality control and DOE methods.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor and analyze part quality performance and manufacturing issues.
• Coordinate corrective actions with customers and internal teams.
• Provide technical quality support for production activities.
• Support BIQ, IATF 16949, GMS, and BIQ certifications.
• Lead or coach on GM Quality Manual elements and BIQ practices.
• Participate in PFMEA reviews and quality readiness activities.
• Develop quality solutions for changes and verify defect resolutions.
• Maintain documentation for Launch Quality Readiness Reviews.
• Travel up to 25% as required.
