Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive sourcing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• 2+ years leadership experience with direct reports.
• Experience negotiating supplier agreements, service contracts, and commercial terms within the United States.
• Experience leading RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and supplier selection processes.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proven ability to effectively interact with vendors, service providers, and cross-functional business stakeholders.
• Experience working with ERP systems and procurement tools.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing activities for goods and services supporting manufacturing, laboratory, facilities, corporate, and commercial operations.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies balancing quality, service, risk, and cost.
• Lead supplier selection initiatives, including RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities and participate in supplier qualification activities.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier consolidation.
• Lead negotiations of supplier agreements, service contracts, SOWs, MSAs, and other commercial contracts.
• Partner with Legal, Finance, Quality, Operations, and stakeholders to negotiate favorable terms while mitigating risk.
• Ensure contracts align with policies and business objectives.
• Manage contract renewals, amendments, and supplier performance obligations.
• Perform sourcing and procurement activities to support priorities.
• Balance leadership with hands-on execution and drive continuous improvement.
• Support day-to-day purchasing operations and assist with escalations as needed.
• Foster accountability, responsiveness, and a service-oriented culture.
• Lead, coach, and develop procurement personnel; establish goals and workload distribution.
• Provide guidance on sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and procurement best practices.
• Promote collaboration with internal teams and supplier engagement.
