Job summary

Alamar Biosciences, Inc. seeks a Shipping and Receiving Technician to join our Operations team. You will pack and ship customer orders, receive incoming materials, and help manage inventory in a fast-moving biotech environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 4+ years in shipping/receiving, attention to detail, teamwork, and strong communication. Knowledge of ISO 13485/GMP is a plus; familiarity with FedEx, UPS, and DHL is highly desired; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED with 4+ years’ experience in Shipping/Receiving.
Good understanding of warehouse management procedures.
Detail-oriented, efficient and a team player.
Experience working in ISO 13485 and GMP environment is a plus.
Experience working with major shippers: FedEx, UPS and DHL highly desired.
Computer literate. Proficient with MS Office/Windows.
Available to work extended hours.
Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

Fill customer orders per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Ensure that products processed for shipping are delegated to the correct courier.
Receive and inspect incoming raw materials per SOPs. Document daily receiving log.
Assist in organizing warehouse inventory and routine inventory counts. Maintain good records of warehouse activities.
Maintain and organize adequate shipping supplies.
Use manual and electric pallet jack as needed.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in Shipping/Receiving area.
Assist in other areas as needed and performing other duties as assigned.
