Job Summary

ThePharma Storage Operations Technician I is responsible for the safe and proper handling of client products in accordance with company procedures and client specific requirements. This shipper/receiver position is challenged with a daily routine that changes based on client demand and generally takes place in a fast-paced work environment at varying environmental conditions.

On-Site Expectations
  • 100% on-site position.
  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm.
Responsibilities
  • Handle products appropriately and enter information electronically into the applicable system.
  • Receive products in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Inventory client products in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Ship client products in accordance with company and client requirements.
  • Perform aliquoting activities for client materials
  • Maintain & clean aliquoting spaces
  • Closely monitor temperature in chambers while performing operations.
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).
  • Document and report discrepancies.
  • Operate temperature monitoring devices.
  • Escort customers as needed.
  • Report questionable issues to management for evaluation and determination.
  • Assist courier runs to ensure the proper handling of client product.
  • Keep workspaces clean, neat, and orderly at all times.
  • Become a member of the on-call monitoring team if eligible.
  • Understand and comply with Safety Data Sheets.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1 year of relevant experience required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • GMP/GDP knowledge.
  • DOT/IATA training (optional).
  • Honesty, integrity, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

The following are the visual requirements – close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The employee will regularly work in an office or lab environment and be exposed to extreme cold (non-weather – warehouse ambient to -80c), frequently work in wet or humid conditions and work near moving mechanical parts, occasionally work in high places and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, outdoor weather conditions, vibration and risk of electrical shock. This position works with moderate noise levels.
