Job summary

A leading biotechnology firm based in Cambridge, Massachusetts seeks an experienced finance leader to drive SEC reporting and establish internal controls. The ideal candidate has 8–12 years of accounting experience, deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, and strong SEC reporting expertise. This hybrid role offers a competitive salary range of $225,000 – $275,000 and a 15% annual bonus, along with stock option participation and health benefits. Qualifications

• Significant SEC reporting experience required, especially with 10-K, 10-Q, and proxy statements.
• Experience in biotech and clinical-stage companies is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with SEC compliance and internal controls is essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and review of SEC filings and ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support implementation of stock option administration and payroll oversight.
• Develop internal controls and SOX-compliant processes.
