Job summary

GenScript USA Inc/ProBio Inc. in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a Sales Account Manager to drive field sales for GenScript products and services.

You will use scientific knowledge and corporate contacts to develop profitable initiatives and build long-term customer relationships. The ideal candidate resides in Philadelphia, PA, with 1–5 years of relevant sales experience and a strong life sciences background.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in life sciences or a Bachelor’s with 2+ years lab experience.
• 1–5 years of relevant sales experience with strong technical orientation.
• Knowledge of Biological CRO/CDMO market or biotech industry; emphasis on gene synthesis, protein, peptide, bioassays, antibody and cell line products.
• Ability to operate effectively in an international business environment.
• Ability to forecast sales within the territory on a weekly basis.
• Team player with strong analytical and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with Global Commercial Head to grow and develop the assigned sales territory.
• Achieve sales goals for GenScript product/service lines; collaborate with TAM and FAS teams.
• Spend ~30% of time on quotes/lead follow-up and 70% on field customer visits.
• Build relationships and expand the brand to meet sales objectives.
• Develop and implement territory sales strategies and tactics.
• Present GenScript services aligned with customer research needs.
