Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Reagent Manufacturing Technician I in San Diego, CA, for the 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) with a 5% shift differential. The role focuses on manufacturing reagents and buffers for life sciences, with hands-on experience in formulation, filling, packaging, labeling, and QC testing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of laboratory or related experience.
• Knowledge of reagent preparation and quality control principles.
• Experience with UV-Vis, pH, and conductivity meters.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture reagents, buffers, and consumables per procedures and schedules.
• Perform formulation, filling, packaging, and labeling.
• Conduct quality control testing to meet specifications.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Document production data accurately.
• Maintain batch records and SOPs.
• Support inventory management and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
