Legend Biotech is seeking an R&D Applications Specialist to support laboratory IT capabilities and R&D systems in Somerset, NJ. You will help operate and enhance applications used in R&D laboratories and ensure compliance across systems.

The role requires a BS degree with 3–5 years in biotech/pharma, knowledge of GxP, SDLC, CSV, and experience with LabVantage and IT support. Collaboration with lab, manufacturing, and IT teams is essential.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 3-5 years experience in Biotech/Pharmaceutical industry.
• Understanding of laboratory science in the life sciences industry, preferably in cell therapy space.
• Understanding of GxP software administration and configuration.
• Installing, configuring and supporting systems and applications in lab environments.
• Experience with direct customer/user interaction, including training.
• Familiarity with SDLC and CSV.
• Knowledge of IT policies and regulatory inspections.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Administer and maintain Equipment/Asset Platform (Blue Mountain RAM), LIMS/ELN (Labvantage) and other lab apps.
• Configure/enhance BMRAM per business requirements; ensure compliance.
• Develop LabVantage enhancements and manage master data in lab systems.
• Troubleshoot instrument software and BC connectivity between PC and instrument.
• Provision user accounts for equipment and scientific software.
• Collaborate with lab, manufacturing, analytical support and IT teams to capture needs.
• Assist in training content and SOP/WI updates; support inspections as needed.
• Track incidents in ITSM; maintain knowledge base; document changes.
• Maintain willingness to learn new skills and participate in training.
