Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will collaborate with leadership and external partners to develop and manage strategy, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation for VX-201

Formación

• 15+ years of relevant experience in pharma/biotech/medical devices
• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred
• PMP, Agile, change management certification preferred
• Experience with combination drug-device development preferred
• Experience in large biopharma and smaller biotech environments preferred
• Strong understanding of program deliverables and management principles
• Leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and resources
• Proven ability to drive alignment with executive leaders and external partners
• Track record of bringing programs to successful outcomes
• Ability to translate strategy into executable plans and governance

Responsabilidades

• Provide operational and strategic PM leadership to cross-functional teams delivering VX-201 and follow-ons
• Build and maintain relationships with scientific leads and external partners to keep programs on track
• Develop and deliver presentations to distill complex issues for strategic planning and decision-making
• Create integrated program plans including progress, timelines, and mitigation plans across functions
• Identify barriers and develop solutions with cross-functional teams
• Analyze scenarios to accelerate programs and increase probability of success
• Apply waterfall and agile PM practices to drive timely decisions and execution
• Help teams resolve issues and enable cross-functional decision-making
• Partner with scientific leadership to shape strategy, objectives, and work plans
• Maintain integrated program plans (Gantt, budget, resources) aligned with objectives
• Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks and implement mitigation plans
