The Webb Law Firm seeks a Lateral Patent Attorney / Patent Agent with biotechnology and life sciences expertise for a full-time role to support our IP practice across Fortune 500s to startups.

Applicants should have at least 5 years of patent drafting and prosecution experience in biotechnology and life sciences, including molecular genetics and cell biology. Hybrid remote options may be available in the Pittsburgh area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of patent drafting and prosecution in biotechnology and life sciences.
• Experience with molecular genetics or cell biology preferred.
• Portfolio management and portable business a plus.
• USPTO registration in good standing required.

Responsabilités

• Draft and prosecute patent applications for biotech inventions.
• Assist with opinion drafting and due diligence projects.
• Portfolio management and client liaison as needed.
