Job summary

FUJIFILM Biotechnologies in Holly Springs, NC seeks an Upstream/Downstream Supervisor to lead a manufacturing team during startup and ongoing operations of a large biopharma facility. You will drive cGMP compliance, training, and cross-functional coordination to ensure safe, high-quality production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 8+ years in a similar large-scale pharma/biotech manufacturing role.
• Experience leading, supervising, or managing employees.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor's in life sciences with 4+ years in a similar role or Associate with 6+ years; military equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Support commissioning and qualification activities for manufacturing operations.
• Lead onboarding, training, materials management, and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop and execute training plans for initial GMP production.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team through onboarding and performance coaching.
• Maintain compliant cGMP environment and regulatory adherence.
• Coordinate manufacturing schedule through shift assignments and escalations.
• Promote safety and quality culture via Gemba walks and training.
• Coordinate with maintenance and other groups requiring access to manufacturing areas.
