Job summary

VMRD, Inc. in Pullman, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Lab Technologist to lead production processes for diagnostic products. You will prepare reagents, maintain quality standards, document work, manage inventory, and train staff while collaborating with R&D on new technology transfers.

The role requires 3–5+ years in a lab environment, a bachelor's degree in biological sciences (advanced degree preferred), and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of laboratory work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Bachelor's degree in biological sciences; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures ELISA kits and conducts related optimization.
• Cultures cells, viruses, bacteria, and microorganisms as required.
• Purifies proteins using salt precipitation, ion exchange, and affinity methods.
• Evaluates proteins by BCA and spectrophotometric analyses; conjugates proteins.
• Maintains records, calibrates and operates lab equipment, analyzes data.
• Mentors and trains Manufacturing staff; supports tech transfer with R&D.
• Ensures inventory control of supplies, raw materials, and chemicals.
