Job summary

Abzena is seeking an Associate I/II to perform large-scale bioconjugation processes for cGMP manufacturing projects. The role supports manufacturing, development, and processing of drug substances, ensuring compliance and on-time delivery.

Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or engineering and at least 2 years in a GMP pharmaceutical environment. The work involves documentation, equipment setup, sampling, and collaboration with QA and process development teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or engineering.
• 2 years’ experience in a GMP pharmaceutical environment preferred.
• Experience with cGMP manufacturing operations and GxP principles.
• Understanding and application of cGMP requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing activities in a GMP environment.
• Batch documentation/record generation.
• Materials sampling, staging, dispensing, and return.
• Equipment setup, operation, and cleaning.
• Assist in CAPAs, deviations and quality-system activities.
• Write/review SOPs and cGMP documentation.
