Job summary

Andelyn Biosciences in Columbus, OH, is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to support manufacturing and laboratory operations. The role focuses on safe maintenance, problem solving in mechanical systems, and preventive care.

Qualifications include an AS degree in engineering or 2 years related experience, plus ability to read schematics and P&ID diagrams. Experience with GMP and CMMS is preferred; excellent communication is required.

Qualifications

• AS degree in an engineering discipline or 2 years related experience with HS diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical industries is preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics and P&ID diagrams.
• Familiarity with cGMP, GDP and FDA requirements as they apply to processing.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to Manufacturing and Laboratory operations safely and effectively.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and repair problems in mechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and on-call support as required.
• Document repairs and maintenance activities in SOPs and CMMS.
• Coordinate with outside contractors and manage parts for jobs.
