Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support laboratory staff in the hematology products process, performing tasks from component fixation to washes and blending per approved protocols.

Responsibilities include handling blood products, maintaining documentation, and adherence to safety and SOPs, with opportunities for growth and training within a collaborative lab setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years laboratory experience.
• Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.
• Ability to follow procedures and knowledge of nonconformance.
• Ability to handle blood.
• Knowledge of SOPs and lab procedures.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing of animal and human blood.
• Perform component procedures as assigned.
• Ensure that product/components are manufactured according to deadline.
• Monitoring reagent and supply inventory.
• Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with procedures.
• Accurately complete and maintain required documents in accordance with procedures.
• Display a willingness to learn new concepts and techniques.
• Follow company policies and practices and follow guidelines regarding safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
