Job summary

Bio-Techne in Minneapolis, MN seeks a skilled manufacturing technician to perform complex manufacturing processes to produce high-quality products, operate and maintain equipment, and troubleshoot issues.

You will work with quality control and R&D to meet production targets, maintain records, and mentor junior technicians, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and teamwork. Bio-Techne offers day-one benefits and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Associate degree preferred with up to 1 year of relevant experience.
  • 4‑year science degree with no experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform complex manufacturing processes and procedures to produce high‑quality products.
  • Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment and instruments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and process issues.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as quality control and research and development, to ensure that production targets are met.
  • Ensure that all manufacturing processes are conducted in accordance with quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of manufacturing processes and product specifications.
  • Train and mentor junior manufacturing technicians.
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated.
