Bio-Techne is seeking an Automation Technician to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on preparing and filling microtiter plates and packaging vials using automated equipment.

Responsibilities include operating specific filling machines, maintaining batch records, and ensuring safety standards are followed in a fast-paced laboratory environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma with related experience and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifikationen

• Must have high school diploma with 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Technical/associate degree preferred in Mechatronics, Automation, Biotech Manufacturing or related field.
• Experience with general lab equipment (pipets, balance, microscope, incubator, degassing) required.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance is expected.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced lab setting.
• Able to lift 5–50 lbs and communicate in English.

Aufgaben

• Operate production machines for filling liquids into vials and microplates.
• Package products into plastic pouches using standard pack equipment.
• Batch and label products manually or with automation.
• Maintain batch records and inventory of components.
• Set up and maintain semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Follow SOPs, lab protocols, and safety guidelines.
• Meet product cycle times and quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
