Job summary

Bio-Techne in Minnesota seeks a Manufacturing Technician to support the hematology product process, including fixation, separation and washes, and blending per approved protocols. You will assist with processing of blood and ensure products meet deadlines, while monitoring inventory and maintaining clean work areas.

Documentation must be accurate and safety procedures followed. Minimum 2 years lab experience required; ability to follow procedures and SOPs is essential.

Pay Range

$18.40 - $25.30

Position Summary

The responsibilities of a Manufacturing Technician are to support the laboratory staff with the process of hematology products and components. This position will perform a variety of tasks within a laboratory setting that may include component fixation, separation and washes, and blending products according to approved protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with processing of animal and human blood.
• Perform component procedures as assigned.
• Ensure that product/components are manufactured according to deadline.
• Monitoring reagent and supply inventory.
• Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with procedures.
• Accurately complete and maintain required documents in accordance with procedures.
• Display a willingness to learn new concepts and techniques.
• Follow company policies and practices and follow guidelines regarding safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• Minimum of 2 years laboratory experience. Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new assignments.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Ability to follow procedures and knowledge of nonconformance
