Job summary

Parallel Bio is building the foundation IT for a cross-continental team (US and Europe), with a focus on scalable identity, devices, SaaS platforms, and network infrastructure. This role owns the corporate IT stack end-to-end, including vendor engagements and security controls, while coordinating with an OT counterpart in California.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT operations including hands-on support, systems administration and vendor management.
• Experience supporting distributed or multi-site teams across locations you were not physically present at.
• Administration of SSO/SAML in Google Workspace and ability to articulate scalable IDP/IAM architecture.
• Hands-on MDM experience with macOS; Jamf preferred; familiarity with iOS and Windows device management.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals and troubleshooting, including VLANs and WiFi segmentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable IT support for employees across multiple sites and coordinate with OT counterpart for on-site issues.
• Manage onboarding/offboarding workflows, including provisioning and revoking access in cooperation with HR and People Ops.
• Oversee procurement and asset management from purchase to decommission.
• Own Google Workspace administration, including users, groups, SSO, M365? (no), and IAM architecture.
• Maintain IT documentation and ensure smooth integration across core systems (Jamf, Rippling, Ashby, and collaboration tools).
• Oversee internal network infrastructure, vendor engagements, and security-related vendor relationships.
• Coordinate with security vendors on endpoint protection, identity management, and compliance controls.
• Communicate IT initiatives to stakeholders with regular updates and escalation paths.
