Job summary

Proteintech Group is recruiting a Scientific Sales Representative to cover accounts in New York. Based in the field, you will work closely with the US HQ in Chicago.

A Life Sciences PhD is preferred, with a competitive salary and generous commission. Key responsibilities include design of sales strategies for the region, maintaining relationships with current customers, proactive prospecting, and presenting solutions during visits and trade shows, with up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

• PhD in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or Life Sciences.
• Experience with Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Flow Cytometry, ELISA.
• Willing to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement your sales strategy for the region.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers to grow long-term and effective business relationships.
• Proactively search and connect with new prospects.
• Conduct customer visits and provide technical solutions.
• Attend trade shows/exhibitions to build brand awareness with US team support.
• Liaise with procurement to facilitate purchases.
• Provide feedback to Marketing and Product Development on customer/competitor activity.
• Meet and report on annual sales targets as the company grows.
