Job summary

Suna Solutions is seeking an experienced Facilities Technician for a 3-month temporary assignment in San Diego. The role focuses on maintenance, repair, and compliance of facility systems and spaces, with an emphasis on biotech/lab environments.

Responsibilities include daily rounds, preventative maintenance on HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lab support systems, and coordination with vendors. On-call support and office moves may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant facilities experience.
• Biotech, pharma., laboratory experience.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with DDC building control system (Distech preferred).
• CMMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily rounds of facilities equipment and spaces, recording critical equipment parameters in system logbooks as required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repair tasks on major facility systems and infrastructure including electrical power and lighting, compressed gases, water systems, plumbing and HVAC.
• Coordinate and assist with office moves and set-up of conference facilities.
• Interface with internal customers and vendors to ensure work is completed to standards.
