Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking a Facilities Manager to provide technical and administrative leadership for the start-up and ongoing operations of the new site. You will collaborate with Capital Project Delivery and Site Operations to define long-term facility strategies and build a capable F&E facilities team.

The role emphasizes cGMP compliance, safety, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple shifts.

Qualifications

• 10 years Engineering experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Associate's degree with 8 years engineering experience or higher
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years engineering experience or higher
• Master's degree with 2 years engineering experience or higher
• Doctorate degree

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative leadership for start-up and ongoing operations of the site.
• Work with Capital Project Delivery and Site Operations to establish long-term facility operations strategy.
• Lead facilities team development and oversee start-up transfer to facilities team.
• Ensure cGMP, safety, and regulatory compliance across multiple shifts.
• Manage day-to-day facility operations, maintenance programs, and ISP performance.
• Drive operational efficiencies through cross-functional collaboration and KPI tracking.
• Support capital project execution and vendor management.
• Interact with senior management to translate needs into initiatives.
