Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Facilities Manager to provide technical and administrative leadership for the site startup and ongoing operations. The role collaborates with Capital Project Delivery and Site Operations to craft long-term facility strategy and build the F&E facilities team while transferring ownership to the dedicated unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED with 10 years engineering experience.
• Associate’s degree with 8 years engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 4 years engineering experience.
• Master’s degree with 2 years engineering experience.
• Doctorate degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and administrative leadership to support start-up and operations of the site.
• Work with Capital Project Delivery and Site Operations to establish long-term facility operations strategy.
• Lead the facilities team and support start-up and transfer of ownership.
• Ensure cGMP compliance and safety across operations.
• Manage ISPs and food services, ensuring accountability and performance.
• Develop KPIs and drive continuous improvement in facilities.
