Job summary

BD is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join Augusta Life Sciences US team. You will automate infrastructure, build CI/CD pipelines, and manage cloud environments to ensure reliability and security of biotech solutions.

You will collaborate with developers and operations, implement IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, and integrate monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk. Strong scripting and cloud experience required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
Proficient in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
Experience with Git version control.
Strong networking, Linux/Windows OS, and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Create, implement, and maintain CI/CD workflows for applications using CircleCI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Develop automation scripts (Python, Bash) to reduce manual tasks.
Implement monitoring and alerting with Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk.
Collaborate with development and operations to define deployment standards.
Ensure security guidelines are integrated into SDLC and infra.
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues.
Participate in on-call rotation.
Document processes, configurations, and architectures.
