Job summary

Amgen in the United States is offering a Grad Intern – Data Scientist – Technology, AI & Data (Summer 2027). This internship provides hands-on experience in extracting insights from large data sets and building predictive models within a collaborative, science-based culture.

You will work on data analysis and modeling projects, test new statistical methods, and help develop automated processes to convert unstructured data into structured content for analysis.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work a full‑time schedule.
• Expected continued enrollment in an accredited college or university following the internship program / co‑op
• Student must be located in the United States for the duration of the internship program
• Must be available to accept and commit to future full‑time employment by July 2028, if offered

Responsibilities

• Executing/analyzing data analysis and modeling projects from design and processing of data
• Testing new statistical analysis methods, software and data sources for continual improvement of quantitative solutions
• Developing new ways for scientists to utilize data from multiple sources
• Developing automated capability to read unstructured data and convert it to structured content that is available for analysis and modeling
