Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Contracts Manager II to draft, negotiate, and manage contracts supporting R&D, manufacturing, and supply chain.

You will partner with internal clients, identify risks, and advise on compliance, while assisting in-house attorneys. This role requires strong contract management and the ability to work across functions.

Candidates with JD or 7+ years related exp and biotech/pharma exposure encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline and 7 years of related experience, or JD preferred, or equivalent education/experience.
• 2–3 years of in-house experience at a biotech, pharma, or high-tech company focused on contract drafting and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and manage a wide range of contracts (e.g., NDAs, consulting/services agreements, materials transfer agreements, research agreements, clinical study agreements, vendor services agreements).
• Advise and troubleshoot existing agreements under supervision.
• Identify contract-related risks and communicate them to internal decision-makers.
• Partner with internal clients to address legal and business questions.
• Handle miscellaneous legal tasks as needed under supervision.
• Maintain and track contract status.
• Provide support to in-house attorneys as requested.
