Job summary

HGS BioScience is seeking a Coating Operator to support final production steps in a humic and fulvic-based product environment. The role involves staging totes, following SOPs, and ensuring timely product movement while complying with quality and safety standards.

You will operate forklifts and other equipment, complete logs and QC documents, and participate in cross-training to support other operations as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
  • Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn production equipment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience within chemical, agriculture, biologicals, liquid processing, or industrial manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy and industrial machinery, such as a forklift.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards.
  • Operate production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Accurately and legibly complete production activity sheets, logs, and quality control documentation.
  • Undergo cross-training and be willing to support other operations when needed.
  • Support material handling, inventory accuracy, and cycle count activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality personnel.
  • Identify and report safety concerns, process deviations, or equipment issues.
  • Perform any additional tasks assigned by your manager.
