The role emphasizes planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely, compliant delivery of development activities. Responsibilities include creating project plans, tracking milestones, managing risks, and guiding communications across departments and sites.

Qualifications

• MS in Life Science, Engineering or related field is required.
• 4+ years project management experience leading multiple complex projects/programs.
• 2+ years in CDMO environment.
• Experience in small molecules or antibody-drug conjugates preferred.
• Broad knowledge of CMC including process development, regulatory/quality requirements, analytical development, formulation and drug product technologies.
• 3+ years client-facing experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Project.
• Must be a quick learner, independent and accountable for work.
• On-site work 5 days a week.
• Ability to work with clients overseas in different time zones.

Responsibilities

• Create project plans to meet client needs.
• Track, adjust and report milestone deliverables to clients and leadership.
• Communicate changes, plans and goals to partnering departments.
• Assist with risk and mitigation planning.
• Create kick-off meetings and Joint Team Meeting content, agenda and minutes.
• Document agreements and changes to the statement of work.
• Handle ERP activities, invoicing, cost control, revenue recognition and procurement.
• Support project budgets and forecast assumptions transparently.
• Coach and develop PM staff; may provide OJT.
• Identify and support PM improvement initiatives.
• Support transfer of services between sites.
• Maintain positive client relationships and communication.
• Adhere to Abzena policies and quality standards; act as a team player.
