Job summary

Adaptyv is building an automated lab where AI agents run biology experiments. We’re hiring a hands-on Community Manager to shape our public presence across X and LinkedIn, run the Proteinbase community, and manage open competitions and hackathons.

You’ll own content, social, events, and the day-to-day rhythm of how Adaptyv talks to the outside world, working closely with the founders and science team to accelerate protein design and AI bio communities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years running social, content, or community for a technical company or science-adjacent brand.
• Strong, distinctive writing voice capable across announcements, replies, and posts.
• Genuine curiosity about biology and AI; ability to follow technical conversations.

Responsibilities

• Manage Adaptyv's day-to-day social presence on X and LinkedIn (product updates, wins, blog amplifications).
• Run the Proteinbase community day-to-day: newsletter, updates, designer spotlights, Slack.
• Own participant-facing side of open competitions and hackathons from applicant comms to judging logistics and post-event recaps.
• Triage inbound community and customer messages; route technical questions.
