Job summary

UM23 Bowie State University (BSU) is seeking an Adjunct Faculty in Biotechnology to teach undergraduate coursework and associated labs. Responsibilities include covering the principles and applications of Biotechnology across various fields and introducing students to laboratory techniques.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s degree or higher in Biology or a related field, have graduate credits in Molecular Biology, and possess teaching experience at the college level. This is a temporary position with benefits including medical and dental insurance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher with at least 15 graduate credits in relevant fields.
• Completion of 30 hours in an accredited doctoral program is acceptable.
• Teaching experience at the college level in area of concentration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate level coursework and lab components in Biotechnology.
• Cover definitions, principles, and applications of Biotechnology.
• Introduce students to nucleic acids and their extraction through lab experiences.
