Job summary

The University of Kentucky seeks a Research Project Manager for the Kentucky Drug Overdose Biosurveillance Program. This role will develop systems, processes, and procedures for state biosurveillance programs and lead day-to-day supervision of the statewide biosurveillance team.

Responsibilities include conducting epidemiologic analyses of biosurveillance data, preparing program reports and grant narratives, developing IRB protocols, and collaborating with faculty to evaluate and communicate

Qualifications

• Requires MA or equivalent; Masters in Epidemiology preferred.
• Experience with biosurveillance or epidemiologic analysis is a plus.
• Ability to conduct data management and analyses using statistical software (SAS/R).

Responsibilities

• Develop systems, processes, and procedures for state biosurveillance programs.
• Conduct overdose biosurveillance using multiple data sources and prepare program reports.
• Provide day-to-day leadership, supervision, coaching and evaluation of program staff.
• Develop IRB protocols and modification, and manage grants/narratives.
