Job summary

Tempus AI in the United States is seeking an advanced Biostatistician to lead design, analysis, and interpretation of complex clinical and real-world studies, with a focus on impactful oncology and genomics projects.

You will collaborate across Engineering, Clinical/Medical, and Data Science teams to translate research into actionable insights for physicians and healthcare stakeholders, mentor junior statisticians, and shape regulatory submissions while advancing precision medicine.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Master’s in Biostatistics or related field with 4+ years (PhD) / 6+ years (MS) of industry experience.
• Expertise in advanced statistical methods, experimental design, and survival analysis with oncology/genomics knowledge.
• Experience developing and reviewing SAPs and independently running analyses for complex studies.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert statistical leadership in design, analysis and interpretation of complex real-world data studies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Clinical/Medical, and Data Science to translate research into insights.
• Mentor junior biostatisticians and perform SAP reviews and code validation.
• Stay current with regulatory requirements and best practices for clinical trials and real-world studies.
