Job summary

Madrigal Pharmaceuticals seeks an early-career Biostatistician to contribute to statistical activities across clinical development and post-marketing efforts. You will translate objectives into deliverables, support statistical strategies, and deliver high-quality analyses in collaboration with biostatisticians, programmers and cross-functional teams.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Biostatistics, you will work on trial design, real-world studies, and analysis of healthcare data, with

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in (Bio)statistics with 0-3 years, or a Master's degree with 5+ years in a Pharma/Biotech environment.
• Experience in design and analysis of clinical trials and healthcare datasets.
• Strong foundation in advanced statistical methods and computing (R, SAS).
• Excellent communication of complex statistical analyses to non-statisticians.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines in pharmaceutical development is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute statistical modeling and analyses, coordinating with biostatisticians, programmers and cross-functional teams to meet R&D objectives.
• Perform and review complex statistical analyses, contribute to protocol development and prepare SAPs as needed.
• Contribute to the design of clinical and real-world studies and perform analyses to support evidence generation.
• Establish effective collaborations with cross-functional teams including clinical research and data management.
• Contribute to scientific excellence via statistical innovation and external conference participation.
