Madrigal Pharmaceuticals Inc. seeks a Biostatistics Manager to contribute to statistical activities across clinical development and post‑marketing efforts.

You will translate objectives into statistical deliverables and help execute statistical strategies with rigor. Collaborate with biostatisticians, programmers and cross‑functional team members to ensure analytical objectives are met, gaining hands‑on biostatistics experience under senior statistical guidance.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in (Bio)statistics with 0–3 years or a Master’s with 5+ years of pharma/biotech experience.
• Experience in design and analysis of clinical trials and healthcare datasets.
• Solid foundation in advanced statistical methods and computing (R, SAS).
• Excellent communication of complex analyses to non‑statisticians.
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines in pharmaceutical development is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute statistical modeling and analyses coordinating with team members to meet R&D objectives.
• Perform and review complex statistical analyses, contribute to protocol development and SAPs.
• Design clinical and real-world studies and analyze data for evidence generation from trials and observational studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure analytical objectives are met.
• Contribute to scientific excellence via statistical innovation and external conferences.
