Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Director, Biostatistics Project Lead in Waltham, MA. You will lead statistical aspects of vaccine projects, provide scientific leadership, and act as a statistical consultant within the company.

You will mentor a global team across jurisdictions, ensure regulatory readiness, and drive operational efficiency. A PhD/MS with 8+ years in pharma is required, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in statistics or related discipline with at least 8 years of pharmaceutical experience.
• Strong project management, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Broad knowledge of advanced statistical concepts and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead large vaccine project(s) in clinical development or post-marketing stage.
• Direct biostatistical contribution and provide scientific leadership for related projects; ensure quality and regulatory relevance.
• Mentor and lead global Biostatistical Sciences team members across regions; promote teamwork and efficiency.
• Plan and track global activities, resources, and timelines; optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate with senior leadership.
• Represent biostatistics in cross-functional groups and contribute to process optimization.
