Virginia Commonwealth University’s Massey Comprehensive Cancer Center in Richmond seeks a skilled biostatistician/biostatistical analyst to perform data analysis for study design and to write statistical reports. You will create tables and figures, interpret results, and contribute to manuscripts and grant applications.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in biostatistics or statistics required.
2+ years of experience with defining technical problems in research projects and databases and implementing new statistical approaches.
Proven ability to disseminate research findings in oral and written formats.
2+ years of experience with statistical software applications, including SAS, R, etc.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis and Statistical Reporting for study design and writing statistical reports.
Manuscripts, Grant Writing and Presentations support for Massey Cancer Center researchers.
Provide biostatistical services to Massey Cancer Center Members and VCU faculty.
Assist in extracting working data files from the master database and ensure data integrity.
