Harvard University in Boston, MA is seeking a Biostatistician II to join a collaborative research team within a large international consortium. You will manage and harmonize data, perform statistical analyses, and provide technical support to project teams.

You will work with epidemiologists, senior statisticians, postdocs and students on manuscripts and abstracts, conduct quality control checks of data management and analysis programs, and contribute to scientific publications.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or closely related field.
• 3+ years of related experience required.
• Experience with statistical software such as SAS, Stata, etc. required.
• Experience using SAS is strongly desired.

Aufgaben

• Perform data management procedures including data cleaning and harmonization.
• Conduct statistical analyses using advanced multivariate methods, spline-based graphical techniques, and meta-analytic procedures.
• Identify potential data or analytical issues and recommend or implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists, senior statisticians, postdoctoral fellows and doctoral students on manuscripts, abstracts and other scientific publications.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project team members.
• Conduct quality control checks of analysis programs.
• Participate in peer review and critique of reports and analyses; work collaboratively to resolve technical challenges.
• Collaborate directly with principal investigators, postdoctoral fellows, doctoral students, other biostatisticians, and other researchers with minimal supervision.
• Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and expertise.
• Perform other duties as needed.
