Position Title: Biostatistician II (Summer Position)
Location: Hybrid – part-time onsite in Carson City, NV and part-time remote
Position End Date: 6/1/2025 – 8/31/2025
Salary: $25.88/hr plus benefits (Non-exempt)
The CDC Foundation is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic public health Biostatistician II for the summer to support the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS). This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in applying biostatistics and data visualization techniques to real-world public health challenges. You will work on projects that analyze public health data, contribute to data-driven decisions, and enhance health programs across Nevada. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to deepen their understanding of biostatistics and public health while contributing to meaningful projects that improve population health outcomes.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Public Health, Epidemiology, or a related field.
This role involves working in a dynamic public health environment. Roles and responsibilities may evolve as situations change, and they may be expanded or updated with written approval from the CDC Foundation and Nevada DHHS to best support public health initiatives.
This position is hybrid – part-time onsite in Carson City, NV, and part-time remote. The CDC Foundation reserves the right to make adjustments as needed.
