The University of Wisconsin–Madison is seeking a Biostatistician II within the Statistical Data Analysis Center (SDAC) to provide biostatistical insights for independent data monitoring committees and industry-sponsored trials. Some work may be performed remotely with on-site requirements.
Responsibilities include designing methods, developing study designs, preparing manuscripts and reports, and advising on best practices.
The Biostatistician II within the UW Statistical Data Analysis Center (SDAC) will provide biostatistical insights on study teams providing independent statistical data analysis supporting Independent Data Monitoring Committees serving to monitor the safety of industry sponsored clinical trials. This position may require some work to be performed in-person, onsite, at a designated campus work location. Some work may be performed remotely at an offsite, non-campus work location.
Master's Degree in biostatistics, or closely related quantitative discipline, is preferred.
The starting salary for the position is $81,569 annually; but is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
University sponsorship is not available for this position, including transfers of sponsorship and TN visas. The selected applicant will be responsible for ensuring their continuous eligibility to work in the United States (i.e. a citizen or national of the United States, a lawful permanent resident, a foreign national authorized to work in the United States without the need of an employer sponsorship) on or before the effective date of appointment.
