Job Summary

This position will assist Center for Limnology principal investigators on a project aimed at understanding herbivory on wild rice and testing strategies to mitigate herbivory. The duties of this position include: data entry and organization, data analysis and visualization, literature review, organizing and administering meetings, sharing results with and getting feedback from partners, writing reports, planning field season methods and logistics, and conducting field work on lakes. This position will be part‑time, with the possibility to work up to 29.75 hours per week.

Compensation

The expected salary rate for this position is $17 per hour. Actual pay within this range will depend on experience, qualifications, and FTE.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of mapping software (e.g., ArcGIS or QGIS)

Education

Education in Ecology preferred.
