Job summary

Costello Medical, Inc. is seeking a Statistics Analyst to devise statistical analysis plans and perform data analyses across patient-level and real-world data in R, Stan, SQL and BUGS. You will communicate methodologies and results to clients in the healthcare sector from our Boston office.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on multiple projects, with training provided in project management and client communication. Start dates in 2026; hybrid/office working options are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in a scientific or mathematical discipline with focus on statistics and data analysis (min GPA 3.3).
• Proficiency in R and ability to rapidly develop programming skills.
• Ability to explain complex techniques and results to non-experts in written and verbal form.
• Willingness to trial or adopt new software or techniques for projects.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, and strong customer service under multiple deadlines.
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Devise and perform statistical analysis plans for client projects.
• Communicate methodologies and results to clients in healthcare sector.
• Analyse data using R, Excel, Stan, SQL and BUGS.
• Collaborate with project teams and engage in client meetings after induction.
