Job summary

You will develop code in R, collaborate on manuscripts, and contribute to grant applications.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship.
• Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or Data Science.
• At least 2 years of collaborative statistical experience in an academic setting.
• Proficiency with descriptive and inferential statistical analyses, structural equation modeling, longitudinal analyses, and clinical trial data analyses.
• Expertise with open-source GUI-based statistical software (e.g., jamovi, JASP, PSPP).
• Expertise with R.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced inferential statistical modeling and data visualization in support of sponsored research and publications.
• Independently design analytic components of research projects from planning to results reporting.
• Create original R code for custom analyses.
• Advise faculty and students on data analysis best practices.
• Supervise data analysis projects to ensure rigor and reproducibility.
• Consult with faculty on data cleaning and management.
• Explain data analysis steps and results clearly to stakeholders.
• Write methods and results sections for manuscripts.
• Draft data analysis plans for grant applications.
