Pennington Biomedical Research Center seeks a Biostatistician to provide statistical support for diverse biomedical studies in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. You will manage data, develop programs, analyze results, and communicate findings with investigators and teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics, Epidemiology, Data Science, or a closely related quantitative field.
• Experience with statistical software and programming; ability to develop and implement statistical analysis plans.
• Ability to communicate statistical information and research findings effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, cleans, and organizes research data and analysis datasets for statistical analysis.
• Performs data management and quality review to ensure accuracy and consistency of datasets.
• Develops and maintains statistical programs and analytical tools.
• Conducts statistical analyses using standard and advanced methods.
• Collaborates with investigators and multidisciplinary teams to support research projects.
• Interprets and presents statistical findings; contributes to publications and deliverables.
