The Biostatistician supports the research mission of Pennington Biomedical by providing statistical and analytical support for a variety of biomedical and research studies. This position works collaboratively with biostatistics faculty, staff, investigators, and multidisciplinary research teams to prepare and manage research data, develop statistical programs, conduct statistical analyses, and interpret and communicate research findings. The Biostatistician will manage assigned projects and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, reproducibility, and quality in all statistical and research activities.
