Job summary

Dawar Consulting seeks a Biospecimen Coordinator to join the BioSample Management team in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role handles receipt, processing, tracking, and shipment of biospecimens, ensuring quality and chain of custody throughout the workflow.

You will work cross-functionally to support laboratory operations, maintain sample integrity, and contribute to process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 1–5 years of biospecimen management or related laboratory experience.
• Experience handling biological samples and chain of custody procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and triage incoming biospecimen shipments.
• Accessioning and verify demographic and sample information.
• Quality control checks on data entry and labeling.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments while ensuring compliance.
• Maintain chain of custody documentation and LIMS records.
