Inframark is seeking a Biosolids Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater plants in Fayetteville, AR. You will lead operators, manage biosolids production and related logistics, while ensuring safety and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma (college preferred), a valid driver's license, and knowledge of OSHA and DOT rules. A CDL is preferred. A company truck is provided, with a salary range of $85,000–$100,000 depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of water and wastewater plants.
• Lead and develop operators, including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and training.
• Manage biosolids production, hay/dryer operations, fertilizer sales and transport between facilities.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and regulatory requirements (DOT/OSHA) are met.
• Coordinate site visits and maintenance communications; monitor equipment and capital budgeting.
• Identify operational improvements and drive cost, quality, and efficiency gains.

Job description

Biosolids Operations Manager (Finance)

The Biosolids Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance activities of water and wastewater plants.

Salary range $85,000-$100,000 depending on level of experience. Company truck provided.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads his/her team of operators in all aspects of people management including: hiring, orientation/on-boarding, performance management, salary changes, promotions, training and development, transfers and terminations. Monitors and reviews staff work and coaches appropriate improvement.
• Manage s hay production/sales, dryer operations, fertilizer sales and tractor trailer hauling of biosolids between facilities.
• Collect sludge, hay, and fertilizer samples for analysts.
• Ensures that all SOPs are followed and DOT, OSHA and other requirements are met.
• Conducts site visits and communicates with maintenance group about maintenance, repairs, etc.
• Manages maintenance of all trucks and equipment, including capital budgeting.
• Assesses operational performance and implements continuous improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Education/Experience : High School diploma required. (college preferred)

Licenses/Certifications : Valid Driver's License. Class A CDL preferred.

Technical : Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Ability to work with basic office equipment & phone systems. Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, DOT regulations & Utility SOPs.
