Inframark is seeking a Biosolids Operations Manager in Fayetteville, AR to oversee daily water and wastewater plant operations within the O&M team. You will lead operators, ensure SOPs and DOT/OSHA compliance, and drive continuous improvements across biosolids production, delivery, and maintenance.

The role requires a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), strong technical skills with MS Office, and proven leadership and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License. Class A CDL preferred.
• Technical: Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications & internet. Working knowledge of OSHA requirements, DOT regulations & Utility SOPs.
• Communication: Communicates clearly & professionally. Maintains composure in challenging situations. Collaborates with others.
• Problem Solving & Quality: Pays attention to detail. Develops innovative and creative solutions.

Responsibilities

• Leads his/her team of operators in all aspects of people management including hiring, orientation/on-boarding, performance management, salary changes, promotions, training and development, transfers and terminations.
• Manage hay production/sales, dryer operations, fertilizer sales and tractor trailer hauling of biosolids between facilities.
• Collect sludge, hay, and fertilizer samples for analysts.
• Ensures that all SOPs are followed and DOT, OSHA and other requirements are met.
• Conducts site visits and communicates with maintenance group about maintenance, repairs, etc.
• Manages maintenance of all trucks and equipment, including capital budgeting.
• Assesses operational performance and implements continuous improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.

The Biosolids Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance activities of water and wastewater plants.

Salary range $85,000-$100,000 depending on level of experience. Company truck provided.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Leads his/her team of operators in all aspects of people management including: hiring, orientation/on-boarding, performance management, salary changes, promotions, training and development, transfers and terminations. Monitors and reviews staff work and coaches appropriate improvement.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to: frequently lift 50-60 pounds; load, unload & move large equipment/tools; access confined spaces; continuously walk and climb stairs and ladders.
