Job summary

Beacon Biosignals, Inc. is seeking a full-time Algorithm Engineer to manage the entire algorithm development lifecycle, from specifications to data curation and documentation.

You will collaborate with stakeholders on biosignal-based medical device initiatives. The role focuses on applying deep learning techniques, refining ML tooling, and communicating complex topics to cross-functional teams across Paris, Boston, or New York City, with remote work options.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industry experience in machine learning and deep learning, preferably in health sciences.
• Proficiency in DSP and statistics, with experience in PyTorch or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern deep learning advances and ML engineering practices.
• Experience with biosignals, medical imaging data, or large time-series datasets preferred.
• Strong collaboration and the ability to present complex topics effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the algorithm development lifecycle, including specifications gathering, data curation, and documentation
• Select and implement appropriate methods for algorithm development, utilizing deep learning when applicable
• Enhance internal tools and best practices to ensure efficient algorithm implementation and user‑friendly documentation
