Job summary

Beacon Biosignals seeks a Senior Algorithm and Machine Learning engineer to lead biosignal-based development across the entire model lifecycle. You will scope, label data, develop, validate, deploy, and maintain ML models for brain and biosignal analysis in support of sleep, neurological, and psychiatric therapy programs.

The role emphasizes applying the right techniques (DL vs traditional), improving internal tools, and ensuring robust testing and documentation.

Qualifications

• Senior-level ML/DL experience with health/science data or regulated domains.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or equivalent; familiarity with DL architectures.
• Experience deploying models to production and validating results.

Responsibilities

• Lead biosignal-based algorithm development lifecycles for medical devices.
• Select and implement methods, balancing DL with traditional approaches.
• Enhance internal ML tools, architectures, and reusable code.
• Document, test, and ensure non-regression through CI pipelines.
• Present results to stakeholders and support client engagement.
• Collaborate with clients to translate algorithm impact into outcomes.
