Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Bench Scientist for a 2-year contract in Cambridge, MA. You will design and perform biosensor assays to characterize biotherapeutics and deliver high-quality analytical data for project teams.

The role requires experience with biosensor instruments and automated liquid handling, plus strong data management and communication skills to support hit identification and progression of drug candidates.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Bachelor's with relevant experience in biotherapeutic discovery.
• Experience with in-vitro protein-protein binding assays to characterize biotherapeutic candidates.
• Experience with liquid handling automation and high-throughput screening.
• Strong communication and data management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and perform biosensor binding assays to characterize biotherapeutics and support hit identification, lead optimization, and candidate selection.
• Analyze and interpret kinetic and affinity data to provide actionable insights that drive project progression.
• Present Biosensor results to cross-functional project teams that impact research portfolio advancement.
